Sunday in Seaview

A sunny Sunday in Seaview. The sea is calm, the sky blue.
It is almost like being in Sicily, except you could see the Solent Sea Forts and the Bembridge lifeboat station in the distance. The runners are out and so are the treasure hunters. A courageous swimmer braves the icy February waters.
For me it will be a Flat White at The Old Fort.
That's life on the Isle of Wight.
Un dimanche ensoleillé à Seaview. La mer est calme, le ciel bleu.
On se croirait presque en Sicile, si ce n’est qu’on aperçoit au loin les forts du Solent et la station de sauvetage sur la jetée de Bembridge. Les coureurs sont de sortis, les chasseurs de trésors aussi. Une courageuse baigneuse brave l’eau glacé de février. Pour ma part, ca sera plutôt un Flat White au Old Fort.
Ainsi va la vie sur l’Ile de Wight.
