A Saturday in July like any other.
Suddenly, hundreds, perhaps thousands, of boats.
Driven by the wind, they parade past the window in a silvery procession.
A liner slipping discreetly through the tiny sails. May the best man win.
That's life on the Isle of Wight.
Un samedi de juillet comme les autres.
Et puis soudain des bateaux par centaines, par milliers peut-être.
Poussés par le vent, ils défilent devant la fenêtre dans un cortège argenté.
Discrètement, un paquebot se faufile au milieu de ces voiles minuscules. Que le meilleur gagne.
Ainsi va la vie sur l’Ile de Wight.
